Will I be required to be licensed?

While licensed electricians are preferred, we will consider those with equivalent certifications and experience (2 years or more).

What is generally expected of of electriciains at Craven?

All applicants should be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, snow, etc). Able to lift and carry heavy loads without assistance. Able to perform work on uneven surfaces, frequently climb ladders, get on/off of equipment, and work from various heights. (PPE is provided). Able to use your hands to perform activities involving holding, grasping, turning, and pulling. Follow safety policies and procedures and wear the required PPE required for the job in a safe manner.

All applicants must have the ability to read and interpret plans, cut/bend/thread/run conduit, wire devices, terminate, troubleshoot, rough-in, and panel work. Applicants must have a valid driving license and standard hand tools.
